Enable RAID 1 support for Optiplex series desktops.

Enable RAID1 support for Optiplex series desktops, and include a quick utility that allows an email to be sent in the event of a drive failure. Possibly pair this up with a way to mount two laptop HDD's in a 3.5 HDD space, for desktop, and small factor implementation.

Dell gets to sell twice as many hard drives on the Optiplex, and drive failures become a nuisance not a show-stopper. 1 Comment »

LCD service tag populated in driver details.

Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Monitors and Displays submitted by lester67 02/28/07

Allow plug and play, or driver install of LCD to populate a field within driver details that contains a monitors service tag information. This way WMI or other utility can be used to extract the information for asset tracking. 1 Comment »
