Have Firefox pre-installed as default browser

Does what it says on the tin! Most people only use IE because they aren't aware of other browsers - they think Internet Explorer is the Internet! What would really drive take up of alternative browsers is if Firefox was pre-installed as the default browser so that when people look for the "Internet" in Windows, they are using FF.
Firefox advocates at Dell have initiated discussions and driven action around exploring alternative internet browsers and experiences. As you can tell from our response to the Linux community, open source continues to be a part of our conversations about new products and services.

Scratch resistant notebooks.

It would be great if can keep our notbook,new as for ever, well that would be an overstatement but then,think about it.Doesn't it sound music to our ears.
When you buy an expensive notebook like an XPS or Precision,you get a shock if you spot a scratch,one fine morning.

It would be great if Dell coats a very thin film,on the outer surface,that can be easly pealed off and replaced by a new coating when there is a bruise or rash.Vola,as good as new.

Complete care is a good solution but then,not perfect especially for the intricate details. 4 Comments »

Make expandible graphics cards for laptops.

This would make the Laptops just as competitive as the standard Desktop market. And would introduce a new corner of the market for "tinker's" of Laptops.
