Am I alone in wanting a less bulkier notebook? I think it would be great, if reducing general bulk is not viable, to have a 13.3" screen option in the Vostro notebook line, with the configuration options of a 14.1" with dedicated graphics. It was possible on a XPS1210, Dell should not have a problem with 13.3", unless it was some sort of marketing decision to go with bigger notebooks. From what I've seen, Dell's 12.1" notebooks in the past were big sellers, I don't think there are any worries of not selling enough of them to not warrant an option. As I travel a lot for a small company, I would really love the idea of a more compact notebooks with the least sacrifice for power as much as possible while keeping the attractive price range and small business-minded features of a Vostro line. |
