Change your decision making process

I've never owned a Dell, but to me Dell means cheap. Perhaps rename the company and reinvent your brand? It's not about you anymore. Dell is dull, Dell is a commodity; Dell is generic. Quite frankly, I don't care if you succeed or fail because the world existed before computers and it will certainly carry on with or without them; just with a few megatons of their rotting skeletons lining landfills and ocean floors, drives filled with scrambled memories of once vivid digital photographs of once-smiling families and places and history all rusting away.

It's not about the tool, it's about how you use it and to what end. Do something human for once. Make your own future or the past will devour your every waking moment. Listen to your dreams and the ideas will follow.

What the world needs now is direction, not a new gadget or widget, processor or OS (well, maybe a new OS in Microsoft's case). Just look at your categories for idea posting. Just by listing categories, you are still thinking within the box, keeping them tidy and orderly. The only category you need to be worried about is success. By pandering to the masses, you only dilute your ability to be decisive in your choices. This is the one habital planet floating alone in space for as far as the eye can see. Make the future count, stop following, lead and take pride in your name. It is YOUR name on the box and YOU are accountable. Comment »
