design a colourful Open Manage IT Assistant Dell Web Site, Service and Support submitted by handrianto May 19 If we install the Dell Open Manage IT Assistant, in My root which describe all the managed machine status, the device status columns (critical, warning, normal, unknown) have no colour that can describe as a hardware console status indicator. all columns are only numbers. Please redesign the IT assistant webpage to be eye catching (e.g.: coloured column summary for all devices status), so that IT administrators can monitor the hardware status easily and responsively. Afterall that what console do, similar to car dashboards, the homepage design should be complete, comprehensive and eye catching for adminstrator. not just a check mark green, yellow, red and black. Service tag font size located in front of the server is too small to read. this make hard for user to locate the service tag and also to read. the most easier part for user to look at ST# is Media card reader on latitude Series Latitude products submitted by handrianto May 16 Until right now, I'm still wondering why Dell Latitude Series (except D430) have no support for internal Media card reader (SD, MMC, Memory Stick, etc). such thing as media card reader is already common to use nowadays. while latitude design for office workers, most of employees must have digital camera, pda, etc which utilize media card.that's why even latitude model should hav media card reader embedded. 1 Comment » Touchpad placement in Dell Keyboard+Touchpad Rack console Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Laptops submitted by handrianto May 16 Touchpad placement in Dell Keyboard+Touchpad Rack console is very not ergonomic. it is located in the right corner of the keyboard. it tires the right hand of IT administrator. because the right hand is hanging without any palmrest. Maybe eliminating/reducing the space of keyboard+touchpad cabling on top of the keyboard can solve the problem. so the touchpad can be located in the center of the keyboard. Comment » |
