I m seriously thinking of NOT buying my next laptop from Dell and am sure there are many more like me who would have a similar opinion. I had two laptops in the past 6 years with a broken hinge at the display lid because i always have my notebook around with me at home, university, work, clients etc. Environment submitted by falbert May 22
In the last shipment of computers I received I was shocked by the amount of plastic wrap used for items like power cords, USB cables, VGA/DVI cables. Do these items really need to be individually wrapped in a plastic bag. I can just imagine the tons of plastic used by Dell annually... Nothing is more annoying than laptop power cables that are not interchangeable from one computer model to another or from one brand of computer to another. Power cables have been standardized on most electrical applicances, including desktop computers for decades.  track my votes
