Automatic Dell driver & software update (maybe even bios?) Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Dell Web Site submitted by prijswij 02/21/07 Like windows and Adobe e.t.c. it would be nice to have dell automaticly update drivers and software instead of me surfing to the dell site to find new updates. 11 Comments » Laptops submitted by gautam 02/16/07 **IMPLEMENTED**
The XPS and E series notebooks are great, but a move into making 12.1 and 14.1 inch tablet PC convertible notebooks would be fantastic. I can easily see the m1210 and the e1405 being ported to the tablet medium. Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Laptops submitted by mugunth 08/31/07 Why not have an option to Laser Engrave a quote or names on the laptop? See the iPod... Comment » Option for Upgraded power supply unit Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Desktops submitted by bg02446 08/30/07 I'd like to see the option of an upgraded PSU on all desktops. I have some experience upgrading desktops, but I'd prefer that my PSU be a ltitle over-spec so that I can drop in a new video card, HD or processor without worrying that I'm going to overload the 300w PSU commonly found in your Inspiron desktops. Even a boost to 375w would be reassuring that the desktop will easily handle minor to moderately power-hungry upgrades in the future. 3 Comments » Sales Strategies submitted by realskript 08/29/07

I was looking for a high end notebook for video editing. Every Dell model I looked at was missing something essential. Make memory upgrades EASIER, not more difficult Sales Strategies, Simplify IT, Laptops submitted by nicopoon 08/19/07
I've always been able to upgrade memory myself on notebooks and laptops, but am concerned to see that Dell has made it so much harder to upgrade memory on new notebooks. You apparently now have to take the notebook apart by removing the keyboard to access memory slots. Why make it so hard for your customers, Mr Dell? All I can see is a lot of unneeded support calls and parts failures as a result of this change. NICE New Dell montor! Keep making great designs like this. Dell's ultra-thin LCD concept with DisplayPort going retail?Beautiful - we want more great designs like this. 41 Comments » Next-Day-Delivery On Parts & Upgrade Products Service and Support submitted by aikiwolfie 09/09/07
I'd like to see Dell implement a Next-Day-Delivery program for upgrade parts and consumables. I've recently just ordered two additional hard drives. The on-line tracking system tells me they won't arrive until the end of the week. Universal Notebook Power Adapter Laptops, Laptop Power submitted by slateslate 08/24/07
1. I've owned Dell Latitudes and Inspirons since 1998. If it is cheaper when it ships than when you ordered Dell should refund the difference. Dell Web Site, Sales Strategies submitted by joshuacl 09/05/07 Have a policy so that if when a computer ships if it is cheaper when it ships than when it was ordered, to reduce the price to the current market price. For instance if I ordered a laptop in June and it was $1499.99 and it didn't ship until September and in September that same laptop would cost $1299.99, refund the difference as the customer isn't getting a $1499.99 laptop anymore. 5 Comments » Sales Strategies, Service and Support submitted by saleemohaib 08/29/07
These days there are delays with some of Dell products. I think as good gesture Dell should offer extra discounts to customers who order products with extended delivery time. Standardize Power Cables for Laptops Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Laptops submitted by badblood 08/27/07 **UNDER REVIEW**
Nothing is more annoying than laptop power cables that are not interchangeable from one computer model to another or from one brand of computer to another. Power cables have been standardized on most electrical applicances, including desktop computers for decades.
