Offer an XPS 12" inch notebook Again Sales Strategies, XPS products, Laptops submitted by nsenman May 16 I used to have the m1210 and m710 laptop notebooks and they were great machines to tote around. Include great specs like the m1210 had. give such things as a strong video card, HDMI, 1394, 3 or more USB ports, swivel webcam, fingerprint reader, etc. You created an awesome performing notebook in the m1210 but it wasn't stylish enough like the m1330. Create an awesome 12'' designer laptop and people will buy it. 7 Comments » Offer Solid State Hard Drive with more Capacity and lower price Servers and Storage, Desktops and Laptops submitted by nsenman May 16 I think solid state drives are way too overpriced and not large enough for the amount of storage people need now a days. People would love to have the 100+ GB of storage Hard Drives along with a less expensive price, comparable to the current SATA. 3 Comments » Virtual Laptop on the Dell site Dell Web Site submitted by nsenman May 16 Not only should you show pictures of your products but offer the ability to zoom in a test drive a laptop virtually on your site. 1 Comment » Offer different colored Laptops at Staples and Best Buy Sales Strategies, Laptops submitted by nsenman May 16 I noticed Dell is offering laptops at stores like Staples and Best Buy but the only color you can get is Black. The new Vostro 1710 looks pretty good, but the keyboard positioning could be improved for the next design refresh. This also applies to other 17" laptops with numeric keypads. M1730 More USB Slots on the back. Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), XPS products submitted by stormrider451 May 17

I've alrady posted this idea but it wasn't very explicit : Offer Killer Gaming Network Cards on the XPS line-up for US and Canada Desktops, Gaming, XPS products submitted by junior May 17
Dell, Start offering the Killer Gaming Network cards like the K1 or M1. Better than Gigabit Ethernet, I think anyway. These cards should be an option for all XPS Desktops in the US and Canada. Integrated WebCams on all UltraSharp Monitors Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Monitors and Displays submitted by junior May 17 Dell should integrate webcams on the Ultra-Sharp monitors, sure the Ultra-Sharp monitors are used mostly for Business use but are desirable for gamers. Everybody likes these monitors because they can Tilt, Swivel and Pivot. If Dell cannot integrate a webcam into these Ultra-Sharp monitors, at least get the SP2008WFP and SP2208WFP 20" and 22" monitors to Tilt, Swivel, and Pivot. 6 Comments » Offer more Linksys Wired and Wireless Routers for the Canadian webpage. Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Sales Strategies submitted by junior May 17 I am not a fan of D-Link Routers, I am a fan of Linksys routers. When I am customizing and purchasing a Desktop, all I see is D-Link and Netgear routers. I trust Linksys routers. Dell, Please start offering Linksys routers when in the Dell Online Store Customization area. I don't want to buy a router at a retailer, I want to purchase it along with my Dell desktop in the comfort of Dell's website where it is cheaper to buy products. On the US webpage, I customized a desktop, and they offer a whole range of Linksys routers, please do the same for Canada's website. Maybe for every Dell Website in the world, this can be done. Linksys & Dell rocks.... Read a document in electronic format is everybody's day, but read a manual, one or two other web pages offline, a. PDF or a simple text file represents us use a PC (hardware and software) in the form complete. By that I mean that in addition to the tangible resources to which we must resort to establish the enabling environment for reading the document, we must add the time factor (waiting) they need so that they begin or charged. Not the least energy consumption. Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Desktops and Laptops submitted by junior May 18
I see on Dell.com and Dell.ca that there is too much Dell branded Keyboards and Mice that are compatible with only a few Dell Notebooks and Desktops. Please fix this, make just one keyboard and mouse compatible with all systems offered by Dell. I would like to share an idea I have thinking last time, about of creation of one PC with function of two PC's. I mean, one pc being used by two people with two different desktop and processing different data, just like people using two computer normally. This idea raised after noticing that many household face more and more need of buying two or more computers for the family members. And to me, woould sound better if your company produces a pc with function of two pc's and supplying information to two different monitors with their keyboard, and preferably a wireless pc and monitors as well the keyboards. These pc's could be used in the companies as well as in the offices. Have VGA port with locking nuts on all laptops, not just Latitudes Laptops submitted by donut May 18
[This isn't about whether or not to have a 15-pin VGA port, but applies to laptops which do have one of those ports.] Simplify Customization Process Dell Web Site, Service and Support submitted by delfmeek May 18 There are too many options when ordering a PC/Laptop. While choice is a good thing, I do not understand why Dell offers several memory configurations. The last time I ordered a desktop, I had 8 choices of memory configurations, for 1, 2, 3, or 4 gigabytes of a memory. I could get the 1,2,3, or 4 gigs of memory in 667 or 800 Mhz of memory. Why in the the world would I choose the 667 MHZ of memory, when less than $50 seperates me from the 800 MHZ option? eliminate the 667 MHZ memory module option, and just simplify it. I hate to say it, but Apple's website is super easy to configure---use that as a model. 4 Comments » track my votes
