Deliver on the promise made to XPS 700 customers from the Exchange program that was announced Mar09, 2007 here:
http://direct2dell.com/one2one/archive/2007/03/09/6554.aspx

Start shipping the kits yesterday! It is ridiculous that the XPS 720 was shipped before this program was ready to go.

yup enough is enough...time to live up to it Dell...I've been a loyal costumer for 7 years, I have 3 desktops from you now and I'm seriously considering to never purchase from you again if this takes much longer...myself and all other XPS 700 owners who have been lied to are tired of waiting !!!!

I really really really want this exchange program to work, but Dell ya gotta show us some goods! I have had this computer for a while and have been complaining about the long list of problems with it and yet nothing has been done. Lets get this exchanged program rolling now please.

I like the part where they try to sell you a Quad processor as if its going to make you happy, of course its the lesser of the Quads which Intel is pushing out the door because the new Quad's are on deck and ready for shipment.

We, as Dell customers, have been reasonable (patient and understanding, although vocal) and we have been responsible (we paid for the product, we helped to identify the problems and to propose solutions). We expect Dell management to be reasonable (understanding that the replacement motherboard has a decreasing value, as days go by) and we expect Dell management to be responsible (start AND COMPLETE the motherboard exchange program NOW, while the board still offers significant value to the customer). I have eagerly and religiously checked the Dell Community Forums each day for 114 days now, each day since Neil Hand announced the replacement program on March 9th. So far, I have read several statements made by Dell managers that reiterate the Dell commitment to replace the board; but, I have seen no statement that communicates the most-important information: answers to the questions -- WHEN? and HOW? At least, please communicate a status -- when do you expect to have the answers??
Thank you for being reasonable. Now, please follow through on the "responsible" part.

The wait is beyond ridiculous now. No company needs this long to complete something like this. Get the boards out Dell or continue to lose long term clients.

Everybody needs to use the New York process as a template for their own state AG. That horse has already left the barn. I am sure that all fifty states have a number of dissatisfied customers. Each state AG will review the issues. Numbers matter. The fact that New York AG has already initiated formal action should make each individual state AG more willing to move forward. It should be noted here that Dell, rather than settle the New York case, has chosen to deny the complaint and litigate. The New York issues are the very same as the ones that Dell has admitted to with the resolution. This issue has a very real potential of going national and federal.

This is out of hand, I guess it's time to contact the attorneys again.

I don't even want a tech guy, just the parts. This is going on wayyyyyyy to long. These boards will be so outdated when we get them, it's time to move on.
