Preload Ubuntu on your 12.1 (XPS M1210) or 13.3 inch (XPS M1330) laptops. As it is now, there's only one choice for a laptop, and that choice is not a light laptop. The 12.1 inch and 13.3 inch laptops are much better to carry around than heavy 15 inch++ laptops.

I should note that Red Hat Enterprise Linux is offered on the Precision mobile workstations.

matt_d: that's a pity. the latitude appears to be a mobile workstation type computer. the power of a *nix on one of these could be useful.

Ubuntu is not planned to be sold on the Latitude E4200, or any other platforms in the Latitude family, at this time.

12.1" would be nice. The smaller the better.

I would by the M1330N through USA Member Purchase program (which is available 30% of the time I refresh the page with a $50 instant savings) IF ONLY they offered the Nvidia card. Take a hint, Dell.
