Apple has a product called the magic trackpad. This is like the magic mouse, but a giant trackpad with multitouch. If dell made one of these for their (or all) pc's, it would be awesome.

I'm going to go ahead an guess that Apple has a rediciolous about of patents on the device and gestures. Even though the patents aren't of any merit I wouldn't doubt that they would sue Dell if they ever tried to copy the idea.
