I'd like to see  the Alienware M15x back on the marketplace.

At the time that I purchased my first one, the were only three models.

the m11x, m15x, and the m17x.

Its my personal belief that the m15x had the perfect balance between portability and performance.
I find  anything larger is a bit much in my eye, size speaking that is.

And the m11x just really isn't large enough for me.

I have managed to purchase 2 so far, and would love to order more for my customers and friends.

Alienware/Dell please bring back this wonderful model!

There should really be an archive of new and discontinued Alienware/XPS systems with a configurator, attached to the "Parts for Dell" section of the Support area.  Such a database wouldn't allow you to purchase these, but could be a useful academic resource for users of those systems, or teams in the company wanting to develop a new machine.

That way whenever systems come up for review, people can explore what specs could be added to it and list improvements here, for the Alienware department to debate behind closed doors.

The system specs that it had before was perfectly fine for me. And to me it seems to still work great and compete in the marketplace. I can only assume that the technology has evolved a bit since 2 yrs ago, so I can't say what the specs should be specifically. But I am looking for at least what it was at the time it was removed or better.

And equally important in my opinion was the size, I don't know how else to describe it but you guys hit the sweet spot. Larger than average laptops and more powerful, but not overly bulky too large like the m17x.

I really love the size of the m15x, along with the performance I got for my money.

The m14x may be close, but its still noticably smaller, enough to make my customers wish the m15x was still around.

I do Agree, M15x has the best balance b/w size, weight and portability, M14x is little smaller. I think it would be better to keep 11x, 15x and 17x for this year.

Thank you for posting the idea.  If the M15x was brought back are there any improvements you think could be made or minimum specs you would be expecting?
