Hi,
I want to buy a greener computer. I know Dell is making an effort on energy and on greener electronics (see it on http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/campaigns/climate-change/cool-it/Campaign-analysis/Guide-to-Greener-Electronics/) so I browsed Dell's website but found nothing in that area. No specific section about "Green Dell" and nothing about environmental quality labels on each computer. I want to be informed in order to choose a computer that will last longer, be energy efficient so I can save money, and a computer that is not an environmental disaster.

Thank you for providing the link to the list. I think what Marianne is asking (and I agree) - can you simply post on the product information page itself whether it's gold, silver or bronze? Then, you could even make it part of the search page. i.e., right now, you can narrow down choices based on cost, screen size, memory, etc. Make this another criteria.Oct 31, 2012 Comment Link

Thank you for posting MarianneBelgin. Dell uses EPEAT registrations which can be found here or by searching the Epeat website. You can also read more about Dell's environmental efforts via the Corporate Responsibility section of Dell.comOct 31, 2012 Comment Link
