Offer Social Media Setup Support for Business Customers
Mine is a very simple idea.
While many small business owners may have heard of Social Media and know it can help their business they may not understand how to go about it.
My idea is to help them get started using social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Youtube and so on. Offer a trained social media professional to walk them through the process of getting their business on these sites along with the best way to get noticed.
Make the process easy for them and explain the benefits. For instance they may know how to setup a Facebook page but may not know how to promote their site. They may not know how to open a Twitter account and get people to follow them. Teach them how to make a Youtube video for their products and service. It may sound easy but I'm sure many small businesses do not know how to do any of this. Something as simple as how to promote a Facebook statues could make all the difference for a business owner.
Dell could even offer a payed premium social media option where they could get advanced social media support. Everything from creating Android apps to creating web pages and web adds could be included with the premium service. Maybe add a webmaster service with the premium plan.
This could be done with a small monthly fee or maybe included with certain Dell purchases. I believe this could be the big thing for offering social media support. Lets not just fix business issues with social media but lets get businesses out into the social aspect of the web so they can leverage it for full potential.
Dell could have it come with 24/7 chat/email support and of course some type of phone support. iPhone, Android and Windows Phone for mobile support would need to be a must in todays business world. Offer apps for anything with a battery and a touch screen. Something like the Alienware Artificial Intelligence Assistant for self help is also a great idea.
The sky is the limit here.
