If glance thru the current set of XPS lineup, apart from the XPS Ultrabook which target the ulltra-portable crowd, none of the XPS lineup really equipped with powerful graphic processors and options to live up the name use to associate with "Performance" + "Cool"
XPS design has much improved but the XPS range has 'always' pale in graphic department.
XPS should keep the <6 lbs weight at all times, bring coolness in design and include top of the line mid-range (e.g. nowadays should be Nvidia GTX660m or ATI 7850m), 17" anti-glare display. People who look into XPS (rather than Insipiron) who look for the above characteristic like gamers, graphic designers, students ..etc.
Nvidia 630/640 or ATI 7570m is for Insipron as they are not really better that much compare to Intel HD4000....
On top of that, consider the following as well
- higher quality speakers (HP has Beat Audio to say the least...)
- Full size keyboard (17")
- mSATA + regular HDD setup (mSATA for Primary OS drive)
On the Dell Store, please bring back the options to choose internal components (apart from CPU and Memory) back to XPS lineup. Please dont treat XPS customer like Inspiron customer, we are willing to pay more because we want more personality (own choice)!
