It appears to me that Dell already makes a great laptop for development in the M6700 Mobile Workstation. It has quad core i7, up to 32GB RAM, multiple hard drives, high resolution screen, will support 2 external monitors (4 with a docking station), and has long battery life. Thin and light doesn't do any good if it doesn't have the power to run what I need, such as multiple VM sessions. Now would you please, please, please provide Linux drivers so I don't have to run Windows on it?
