One of the major things I need in a laptop computer that I plan on using for development is a high resolution monitor, the ability to attach MORE than one extra monitor, and a great keyboard. I like many of the things you are planning on doing with software, but what I REALLY need is great hardware above all. This means that when I am typing I should NEVER accidentally touch the track pad. Also I have always wanted a thin and light laptop, however, I am NOT willing to give up connectivity (USB (this means more than 3), HDMI, VGA (yes I still want VGA), SD card slot, ETHERNET!). I understand that is asking a lot considering this is just a side project and you will most likely not change any hardware (due to cost) but for it to be worth the substantial amount of money this laptop is sure to cost I need great hardware before I am willing to even look at what you are doing with software. This is not do say I do like what you are planning on doing with software. Normally I would not contact a company and tell them what I would like them to do, after all chances are this too will be neither seen nor executed, however, the idea of a developer laptop got me both excited and skeptical that it could be pulled off. Thanks for paying attention to use and best of luck.

I totally agree with you on this and think lots of USB, Connectivity, and such is essetial for a laptop for developers.i love the concept of what they are trying to do but I really think that if they don't listen to what people want in a development computer.
