Although a lot of information about the Latitude 6430u isn't known yet it might fit the bill better as the basis for this laptop. I mean, without all the non sense (smart card reader, finger print reader, data protection etc.) it would be far more realistic to use that to fullfill a lot of the whishes mentioned in this brainstorm than it is based on the xps 13. True, it's slightly thicker and less beautiful, but that will either make the final product cheaper (a good thing) or more powerfull (a good thing), whilst still staying in the boundaries of a well designed ultrabook (Though I will never understand why a 1 inch bigger screen has the same resolution... :( oh well...). (And I think 14" wins over 13" either way (14.5 being my personal sweetspot)).
