I would love to see a "universal" lighting kit offered for alienware.

It would be a single USB control box that you plug into your alienware computer.  This box has several outputs that connect to various sizes/styles of LED lights.  They could all be controlled with the command center program.  Then, you just go ahead and install the LED lights anywhere you want.  Under your desk, the back of your lcd, anywhere!

Then anytime you fire up a game with alienfx, your whole desk lights up with the keyboard, mouse, and computer.

As for the sizes/styles of LED,   small round disks and long strips... pretty much like the ikea dioder lights.

    Yes they would be wired, but they would all come off a central control box.

    That control box would have a single USB wire and a power wire going into it (plugs of course, usb type A and a small power jack)
    You could mount the control box to the underside of your desk, then just run the wires to the lights (black wires)

    Idealy it would allow people to turn their desks into a extension of their computers.  I like the alienfx, and I would love to be able to add it to anything else in the room.

    I loved seeing your cat in the video since it seemed to love being in the spotlight.  I'm guessing the lights would be wired in your setup?.

    I took the ikea dioder lights and stuck them under my table... they are just set to cycle right now, but would love for them to sync up with the alienfx system.
