Solar charging the batteries in the laptops.

I need the syimatics of a laptop, showing the DC charging circuit for the battery,  Have a solar pannel with the right amps and proper voltage.  Have a input jack to the battery on a proper, timer for a full charge.  When it turns off you know its fully charged.   With the 12/2012, comming we may be looking at no AC, and or a black out, So this may be required to operate the laptop.  Thank you,  Bill

    You don't need the schematics of either the laptop, or the battery charging circuitry.  You can use an inverter supported by a PV panel, driving the proper power adapter.  Too, you can use the PV providing the same DC output voltage as the power adapter, and connect that to the computer.

    Solar charging laptops is an interesting concept, that is only made more relevant with the newly improved solar charging technology - thinner panels and more power produced.
