I think these are realistic goals. The pricing has low priority to me, I am willing to pay an appropriate amount for a high quality device.

The CPU part of Ivy Bridge is not really faster (only marginally in benchmarks) than Sandy Bridge, but the GPU is much more powerful, and as a whole it consumes less power. I personally only care about the lower power, I forgot to include battery life in the list.Aug 14, 2012 Comment Link

For the screen size, 1400x900 would be about the maximum I could tolerate on such a small screen, but I strongly +1 the idea of more RAM.Is the ivy bridge lower power, or just faster? I'm find giving up a little speed if it means getting 6 hours per charge instead of 4 hours.
I believe the warranty options are available already when you order, up to 3 years. Doubtful they'll up it to 2 years included in the price.
