Developers, expecially in the open-source world, may often need to give presentations using their laptops, or share their screen on a projector. It's important that we can do that easily - HDMI is the best way to do that currently, so it is disappointing to see that the XPS 13 lacks an HDMI port. Even worse, it doesn't even provide VGA out. Without one or the other, I can't see myself really using this. The hassle of having and carrying around a MiniDisplay->VGA adapter seems trivial, but will actually be problematic for many (potential) owners. I'd really like to see a change to the hardware here.
