As a person who has purchased Dell computers of 4 separate occasions, I must register the absolute abysmal way they treat their customers. I have an alienware computer whose motherboard malfunctioned. They sold me a warranty extension ($500) and then told me a rep would come out and fix my computer. The rep never came, and so I called back. They had attributed the warranty to someone else in error, and certainly a rep would come out now. Well, this didn't happen. No rep for 2 weeks. After being on the phone for 30 minutes, and diagnosing my issue (faulty motherboard $800 to repair) the tech support guy said that Dell erroneously sold me that warranty and that they would not honor it. They told me "good luck" and sionara. This entire debacle lasted 6 weeks, a temporarily drained bank account and some really bad feelings toward Dell. I really hope they will clean up their act, because they just lost a loyal customer of over 10 years.
Dear Dell,
Improve your customers service or you won't be around long enough to execute on any other good ideas!
