Dear Dell,

I'm writing to let you know that I would pay double (or an extra $1000) for a matte 1900x1200 display option.

I realize these aren't for everyone, but as a developer it's critical for me to be able to see code - not watch movies.

I've been a loyal customer (and shareholder) for years, but since you've switched all of your laptops to 1080p, this time I went with a MacBook retina. 

I paid nearly $3,000.  I would've preferred a Dell.

Please, if you can't offer a retina display, please at least bring back the 16:10 format and offer bright (350 nit+) matte displays.
