Make Numberic Keypad Optional

I loved my old Dells, like my Latitiude E6500.

But the new laptops all have a full-size numeric keypad, which drives the touchpad off-center.

The off-center touchpad is very uncomfortable.  For me, it was a deal-breaker on my purchase of an M6700.

I don't need or want a keypad.  But I do want a centered touchpad.  And I would pay a premium to get one.

Please: at least provide a 'centered' keyboard option.   

Frankly, it's hard to imagine anyone needing a numeric keypad, unless they are an accountant.  And if they do, it's easy to add a USB keypad - but impossible to fix the off-center touchpad.
