Laptop WIFI HOTSPOT!!

I currently have a Latitude E 6410 issued by the US Government, when we travel around the world, most hotels we stay at do not have WIFI available in the rooms. Please place a device on all laptops that creates a Hotspot once connected to a landline!

    He wants to share the internet access that the notebook has with his other devices (I'd expect a cell phone or the like), so he wants to be able to set up what they call a 'WiFi hotspot' - essentially tethering hotspot, but from a computer instead of a phone.

    If the computer was already connected to a landline - as with a modem - why would the computer need another internal device for communications?

    Did you know that in the Windows Networking Centre, there is a function to share wireless connectivity with other devices?
