Windows 8 Secure Boot

As an avid Linux user I would like to ask Dell to either have an option in the Bios to disable Secure Boot or an avenue to boot into a second OS.

    Dell has been actively engaged with the Linux community on this topic, and recognize the need to ensure users can specify their own keys for secure boot.

    Good point paiged. Just had time to read up some more on UEFI and I favor Red Hat and Canonical's suggestions among others.

    Secure Boot is actually compatible with operating systems like Linux.  The specifications of secure boot state that the owner (user) chooses the keys to install on the system.

    My question would be:  Does Dell plan to support this implementation, or limit it to only Windows 8?  I love Dell laptops, but if I can't load Fedora, I'll have to unhappily use another brand.  Not that I want to....
