I own an Inspiron Dell Duo with the JBL speaker dock. For the most part I love this little machine. However, it has a few short comings, most notably it lacks a video output, the battery life is too short, and it's a bit too heavy for a comfortable table experience.

Nevertheless, the concept is fabulous. A few months back I installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview (dual boot mode with Win7). Although the OS is still too buggy for "production" use, I'm confident the final version will greatly enhance the table experience of my machine.

All of this got me thinking. The XPS 13 is a fantastic piece of technology. The great thing about ultrabooks is that they give you the flexibility and performance of a notebook in the compact form factor of a netbook. With the growing interest among customers in tablets and ultrabooks, as well as the upcoming launch of Windows 8, wouldn't it be something if we offered an XPS duo. I know I'd buy one.
