could determine what computer hardware and software needed for his / her coarse.
Threw sales discounts for instructors as well as students you could create a win win  structure for dell.

    I have to agree with what Cy_J said below. In my last semester at school, you'll find that most computers in the classrooms are very simliar, if not exact. I think with that said, depending on how the school books up classrooms, they could have classrooms designated for certain programs and such, that have systems that are pre-configured and ready to handle whatever kind of processing power which may be required. It's not a matter of what Dell has to offer currently, I think it's more of a organizational thing for schools.
