The idea here is to give a tablet experience at lower cost to a wider audience. Many people have PCs at homes however they may want to work on it from the ease of their beds. Can't we build a device which looks like a tablet but connects to a PC through some kind of wireless network.
The main cost in building a good tablet is the cost of a good processor. By building a device which will just have sufficient processing power to send, receive and interprate signals from the home PC. It can have a native OS which can interprate incoming signals and display users the same in its screen. On the home PC a USB kind of device can be used to send/ receive signals.
This can also allow multiple devices to be connected to one computer and help in scenarios like: Classrooms, Conferences, Malls etc.
Please think about this and let me know if this can be worked out.
