We musician's need to have a computer that will work with midi notation software hooked up to a midi keyboard.
I refer all you computer techs and developers to the Advanced Pro Gear site that discusses the problems we musicians are having when we try to record our music by playing a midi keyboard into our midi notation software. We get all sorts of crazy rhythms that we did not intend to produce when we were recording our music. See the article in the Advanced Pro Gear site. I don't think their solution to the problem is quite adequate. The problem seems to be either in the electronic flow of the computer system or in the OS itself. This requires a new specialized type of computer that will be bought by musicians immediately. There is a market for this out there. We need something for us. We are not doing word processing except when we type in lyrics. We can dispense with all the frills. We need something for us that will take care of our music and allow us to compose in real time without the midi bridges and other new fangled stuff that does not work. I cite the Pro Tools bridge in particular. That works for their program but it doesn't help in other software we use. How about making a computer for musician's that will take care of our dilemma?
