Bring Back Facial Recognition Software!

I absolutely loved the facial recognition that Asus deployed in their G74.  Once I got my m17x r3, I was disappointed to find out that Alienware had discontinued offering the facial recognition software.  I downloaded the one that Alienware used to use and it was terrible compared to the Asus one.  Alienware should bring back facial recognition software, but use something better than what was previously used.

    What should be inluded is:
-Facial recognition login software (to log in to Windows)
-A facial recognition password manager that stores your online passwords and it won't enter them unless it's verified your face (similar to how Firefox can require a master password to be entered before it will auto-enter your login details).
-Maybe the facial recognition management software could be a part of Alienware Command Center.

Here's are are some features the software should include:
-ability to add AND manage multiple photos for different lighting conditions, etc.
The Asus software let you add them, but not manage them.  Android 4.0 also lets you add but not manage pictures.  It would be nice to be able to go through and look at all the pictures and be able to delete indivual ones.  Asus and Android 4.0 just let you completely wipe all the pictures.

-When you log in with your password (probably when you don't get recognized), the software should either automatically add your picture at the time of entering your password to the database or ask you if you want it added.  It could be an option whether you want them added automatically or if you want it to ask or not at all.
The reason for it to ask whether you want it added or not would be that if it's night time or its too dark, you probably don't want a picture added that's just complete black.

-I don't remember if it was the Asus software or some other one where if it was too dark, it would make the whole screen white, which usually made it bright enough for the webcam to see my face.  This would be a nice feature.

-It needs to start up quickly at boot up.  The Asus software started up really quickly because it was integrated into Windows or something.  3rd party softwares I've used don't start up as fast.

-The software should take a picture when somebody enters a wrong password so if somebody is trying to break into your computer, you can know who it is.  That picture could then be automatically emailed to a set email address or something like that.  Or maybe it could just be stored until the real user comes back and enters the password.

-There should be an option to turn the following feature on or off.
It should actively follow your face and once it no longer recognizes your face (i.e. you've left the room), it will lock the computer.  This can also go back to the online password manager thing.  If it recognizes your face, it can auto-enter the passwords, but if you go to a website and your face isn't in the picture (i.e. someone else is using your computer), it won't auto-enter the password and maybe ask for you to type a master password.

    @Ferari353

Try contacting the people at  Sensible Vision Support

The owner is really GREAT at helping to solve the issues. The member even posts in the Dell Forums. Fast Access Facial recognition Software 3.1.83 works better that the 2.4.97 version. It takes a little time to register your face but work well in low lighted areas.

If you don't mthink Fast Acces is the program for the M17x R3, then could you suggest what Facial Recognition software you would suggest so Cy can look min to the software and see if it is feasable with Dell.

@pudgyone: I downloaded FastAccess again to find the problems I found before.  And the problems aren't so much bugs or anything, but just missing features.
One of the most notable features that FastAccess is missing is the ability to add pictures through the management software!  The only way to get more pictures in the database is to wait until you have to log in in the different lighting conditions.  There's also no way to manage those pictures, you can't delete individual ones.
FastAccess also takes FOREVER to start up!  I locked my screen and it took like 10 seconds before FastAccess actually started working.  It also takes forever during boot up and after a sleep.  Time is a huge issue here.  I can easily type my password in during that time.

@pudgyone: I've tried FastAccess before (that's where I got the white screen idea from) and I had a bunch of problems with it but I don't remember exactly what the problems were.

Fast Access Recognition Software does almost all those features.

If my memory serves me correctly, Dell can offer Fast Access Recognition Software.

I have it installed on my Dell XPS L501x and it works great. The version on the disk from Dell is much better than the version that is available from My Dell Downloads :: Login

Thank you!  It always helps when we can get additional information on how a person uses or would like to use  their system.  Thanks for using the Idea Extension feature as well because it makes it easier for us to see additional information for the idea.  It would be great if you filled out some more information in your profile so we know a little more about you as well.  I know many people don't like to share personal information but an Avatar along with a Bio or Interests would be helpful.  The avatar helps bring attention of others to your ideas and comments as well.

Can you explain what you feel would be included in such a software package.  Perhaps even some improvements over ones you have used in the past?
