I love this. There is so much potential around employee travel. I'll add another suggestion to the above: What if companies actually offered incentives (monetary or nonmonetary) to encourage employees to choose the greener travel options (e.g. to not book rental cars and instead choose public transit or shared shuttles; or to consolidate multiple short trips into one longer trip, in a way that reduces overall air miles). They could earn points that factor into their annual bonuses, for example, or add up to year-end gifts (like a gift certificate).
