There are too many choiches on the Dell website. Take the laptops for example, there is the Inspiron (R and Z), the XPS, the Alienware, the Vostro, the Latitude and the Precision lines!

The same goes for desktops.

Make it simple to choose: keep focusing on good design and quality, but reduce the number of choices. Focus on quality, not quantity.

    By having more customization choices on fewer models, everyone may be satisfied.  I am an engineer and I need more RAM and processing power than most.  It can be hard to justify the extra cost to management.  Give me the ability to shift my cost to performance - please.  Also note that my laptop is connected to a network most of the time.  I don't need a terabyte HDD.  A smaller, faster SSD would suit me better.  Powerful computers don't necessarily need huge storage.
