Country, language should be separate options
It's been a long while since I've posted an idea, so I thought this might be a more beneficial facility to customers.
Traditionally, everyone who purchases a system does so from their own country, or a country with a language they understand. So what happens if they are about to start work with people who can speak theirs, but in another country with a language they haven't yet learned? In order for the product to ship in reasonable time for them, it would have to come from the country they're working in. But while they may understand prices, if that website is in the country's native language, how will they understand what specific products/components they're ordering?
This is why I suggest there should be a change to the way the Dell/Alienware Online Store pages are structured. I think that when you enter the site, there should be detailed global map that lets you select where exactly you are located, and then another, independent popup that lets you select a flag for your language as normal - perhaps enabling a currency converter as well for those still unsure how much products there are. It should also allow you to lock these settings, so you don't have to perform it every time you go to the store.
Finally, I know that Dell draws the line with their Service Tag Locator being functional only with Internet Explorer, though Firefox and Chrome are also considered dominant web browsers, so the country/language feature should work on all of these for convenience.
