I have a lot of Dell 1950s and a few 1900 and 2900 servers. Almost all of them use Perc 5i controllers. Problem is they can't access more than 2TB of a drive. Please do a new firmware release that allows these controllers to see > 2TB.

In case others have a similar issue here is what I have been told."There is a 2TB volume restriction imposed by the system board of PERC 5 compatible systems. Because there is another component causing a 2TB restriction I do not see a time when we will increase the HDD limitation from 2TB.
This restriction does not prevent the creation of larger than 2TB volumes though. The restriction is simply for the HDD's and the operating system volume. Since the system board does not have UEFI the OS will only partition a maximum of 2TB of the installed partition. You can create data volumes that do not have OS's installed that are larger than 2TB."
