Here’s a concept of my next idea – a Smart RAM card. It’s for mobile devices like Smart phones, tablets and laptops. Basically it’s a RAM upgrade which will just slot into a dedicated slot to add more RAM. Smart phones and tablets come with only 1GB, but you can’t open them up to add more, so this is the solution. They’ll come in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB sizes.

    Yes something like the SD card slot. If you can increase storage, why not also increase RAM to cater for the never ending upgrades. With the launch of Microsoft's Surface tablet providing multi-tasking, more RAM makes sense.

    Interesting, I wonder how the I/O would work with RAM in a user removable slot.  Are you thinking something like an SD card slot only for RAM?
