What will be the design (featuring) of new computers?

Wiindoxs 8 would allow working under note book traditionnal concept AND tablets design.
Practically does it mean for example that I could disconnect the sreen from the main frame and use it as a simple tablet ? The tablet being comunicating with the computer by Blue tooth for example?
There would be two products in one, keeping advantages of both.
