Alienware M18X R2 Body Color optional

My idea is for Alienware M18X R2, for alienware user specially alienware M18X R2 get an optinal to change their body laptop into many optional like silver, blue, or white, or maybe carbon body material. I think it's an briliant idea. Hopefully DELL-Alienware can make it Reality, because i'm Alienware User (Alienware M18X R2 Nebula Red)

    I agree.

    I know that Dell/AW have this partly implemented, but it was only on the XPS M-1700 series they really had a feature for colours other than black or red.  The fact that the company provides other options to desktop cases as well should mean that now is the time for laptops to have the same treatment.

    As an alternative counter-proposal, however, another option might be to make it easier for customers to change the shell colour themselves.  We know that the XPS laptops have a backplate that can be swapped out, but why not make the outer chassis of a machine completely anodized aluminium and, then, have a thin plastic shell (similar to Case Mods of an Xbox 360) that can be fastened or bolted on top?  That way these "skins" could be sold through the online store on a supply/demand basis.

    Thanks for posting your idea.  Do you mean the entire body of the notebook or just the lid?
