Kepler hits the market - is XPS 15 ready to move on?

Wait is over! indeed the first kepler GPU hits the market equipped in acer aspire timelineU M3! The new chip GT 640m (384 CUDA cores, 625/1800MHz core/memory clocks, 128-bit memory bus) is more powerful than even what nvidia claims! It even beats the GT555m!

Only  disappointment is that it uses the DDR3 memory in that timeline laptop( actually no need for GDDR5 as it has 1366x768 screen and GT 640m can run anything with ease in that resolution) which means limited bandwidth and it really limit the performance while this GPU can deliver much more!

We have long waited for a GPU that can justify the amazing 1080p screen of XPS 15! Now time has come! Simply we want a GT 640m with GDDR5 memory in XPS 15! Even more, it would be nice if DELL can include the rumoured GT 655m,the Kepler counter part of Fermi based GT 555m,with GDDR5 memory and of course intel Ivy Bridge ( that would simply justify the name XPS - Xtreme Performance Series )! Dell are you listening??

    Dell has an extensive proprietary roadmap providing continuous product improvement, and it performs an extensive analysis of devices even before you have knowledge of them.
