XPS laptops + GTX 660M Graphics = Best Dell laptop
Dell, you really need to update your performance lines a lot faster because nobody who is that knowledgable about hardware is going to buy a laptop a year after the technology in it was released. Ivy Bridge processors should all ready be available in your XPS line and so should the high end mobile kepler GPUs. The new Inspiron 17R special edition is a step in the right direction, but that kind of power can easily be fit into a 14" or 15" form factor. The highest possible specs for the Inspiron 17R special edition should be the low to mid range specs for the new XPS 15. I have been waiting over two years to purchase from Dell again because no laptop has had anywhere near decent graphics since before 2008 (old technology obviously doesn't look good today, but the price to performance ratio was a lot better relatively). That said, please add the gtx660m to the XPS 15 and XPS 17, possibly even the 14, but I would accept it if only the 650m were possible on the 14, even though there are competing laptops that have the 660m in them (trade show models had the 660m in a 14, not sure if they are publicly available yet).
While I'm here, I might as well add that anyone with a desire for a good graphics card will not want a low res screen. 1080p is a requirement for all laptops over $750 when you can get >1080p resolutions on $500 tablets.
