I would like an option that if they are out of a part that you can switch out that one part and still get your system. Right now I think it is stupid to have to cancel your order and resubmit for that one part and you get put back to the end of the line again and any special promos they were doing at that time are no longer available and you lose out on those. Please being a big corporation you have to be able to access the system switch out those parts and get the system to you. My current system has been delayed already once and it looks like it will be delayed again. Just wish someone can tell you an exact date so you know what direction to go.

It would be a benefical idea for Dell to include extra information while building PC's on their website. As they know their current supply, they would be able to give you a rough estimate if your purchase was going to be delayed, and perhaps an estimate on how long depending on the components that they are waiting on.Feb 22, 2012 Comment Link
