Dell has now decided to sell computers with Linux pre-installed. GREAT MOVE! But for the moment, it only concerns the US... Here outside the US, we can't wait to buy a pre-installed Linux Dell PC! Please sell Linux PCs worldwide!

    I am a Ubuntu user and a free sofware enthusiast in Québec (Canada). Whoever offers me a laptop or pc with Ubuntu out of the box will be seriously considered as a next purchase! I hope Dell will offer that soon!

    You'll need to do this for Australia if you ever want a chance to get my money again. My last ultra portable was Asus for the very reason that they shipped GNU/Linux out of the box. Purchased well over a year ago, I use it every day at work.

    I am utterly disappointed when I walked into a retail store in Singapore this morning to look at the newly launched Dell Inspiron Mini 9 here. There is only ONE model-- and it is with Windows XP Home... Why? I have been waiting in anticipation for months and held on to other Linux netbooks purchase just because I love Ubuntu, and wanted to show my support to both Dell and Ubuntu. I wanted to buy 3 of them for my family, and sorry Dell, I grabbed one Acer Aspire One with Linpus instead at the retail store... and now thinking which to buy for the next 2, definitely not a Dell.

    As soon as dell starts selling ubuntu PC's in the netherlands I will buy an XPS m1330. When it takes to long I wait for Intrepid Ibex.
