MacBook Pro already did it, its 15" MBP Retina is truly a killer. on the lower end side, we have the Acer Timeline Ultra M3, and the M5 15" that is about to launch this month.

Most of them share a almost same trait that is weight around 1.8kgs - 2.2kgs and carries a mid range GPU (GT640 or GT650) and consider well into the ultrabook category but can pack a punch in performance. They are also able to sustain for long hours of operations, exceeding 4-5hrs on multimedia operations.

the new DELL XPS 15 should be a performer yet lightweight and can sustain long hours of operations as well.

Providing options of at least...
CPU: i5 or i7
GPU: Minimum GT640 Kepler
SCREEN RESOLUTION: 1600x900 and above
KEYBOARD:
- Backlit (optional).
- Numpad included.
WEIGHT: no more than 2.3kgs
THICKNESS: less than 2.1cm

Hello there Spnneno I believe that you luck is about to chance, because Dell is roumered to make a new 14 and 15 inch ultrabook and an update to the xps 14 and 15 z.  I also hope that Dell does make the keyboard structure more stable because some reviewers did say that the surrounding plastic did bend a little when they were typing.
