Dell should offer a Dell Mini 10
I love the portability of my Dell Mini 9, but there are a LOT of compromises necessary to fit into a device this size, and many will prefer the 10-inch size being offered by a lot of your competitors.
Keep all the good things about the mini-9, like the STEC flash drives, and the easy access to expansion slots, and make it in a 10-inch form factor.
Increase the keyboard size a little. Go with a 10.2-inch screen.
I'd love to see you do something with narrow bezels and edge-to-edge keyboards and all that, but even if you just clone the Mini 9 in a larger form factor, that would be fine.

10.2 inch LED-Display, SSD Drive (silence!) with HDD option for those who need more space and a design like the mini 9 (which is business-suitable). What makes it different from all the other netbooks on the market? Add Ubuntu 8.10 and leave the fan outta there (intelligent passive cooling).
