When customizing computer show normal speed and whether dual or quad core.

When you pick the processor for a laptop it only shows the "up to.." speed not the actuall non-turbo boost clock speed. Also it should tell you if it is a dual or quad core processor. This information is a lot more important than the model number.

    Thanks for posting your idea.  A quick check of the XPS 15 showed me the actual and up to speeds on the processor.

    Can you advise which models are not showing the actual processor speed?
