Joining application Form

This may not be in your territory but ...

I was sorry to find as I am filling out this idea storm joining form, when I come across the agreement link, after having filled in the form, that the link takes me away from the form and on returning I find that I have lost all my data of filling in this form. Would it be a good idea to open it up in a new window?

I am sure I am not the only one who find filing in a form twice very offputting. Sorry it's not a complaint but an observation.

    Thank you for pointing this out Jeanette. I'll add it to my list for future improvements for the site. I also see that the social links section of the profile page may be confusing as some users are entering their names instead of the URL link to their accounts. Let me know if you have any other issues while filling out your profile information and adding an avatar.
