The new Dell Dock software should be downloadable (free of charge) under the drivers section of the Dell Support site for all Dell computers.
Whether it should only be factory-installed on the Studio line or not is another matter.
This is clearly possible since there is a demonstration video of it running on an XPS M1530.

If you use this download: http://ftp.us.dell.com/app/STARDOCK_DELL-DOCK-APPLICATI_A03_R186613.EXE it works on M1330 without prior installation as well. However it's english only. You would need to copy and modify some files to get multilanguage. The actual multilanguage files are already installed, however those are inclomplete. Compare to a preinstalled DellDock installation.Aug 9, 2008 Comment Link

I just searched the Dell site to find it. Maybe I got lucky and downloaded it before they locked it?Aug 8, 2008 Comment Link

Actually, should only be "Partially Implemented". There is a download called "Dell Dock" there now, but if you download it, you get an error message saying that it is for restore purposes only, and you need to have previously installed Dell Dock. Which doesn't make a lot of sense since in a restore situation -- most likely after re-formatting -- you can't install it. Please could you post a proper, working version?Jul 16, 2008 Comment Link
