I have filed three patent applications of using water to directly cool the electronic boards of an IT server, like a blade server. The electronic boards can be sealed and made water-tight by a thermo-molded membrane and the electronic boards are powered directly by a 12V dc busbar. There is no need for a dedicated AC/DC power supply for the servers, separate cooling fans and room air-conditioning. This idea will completely revolutionalise the way IT servers are cooled and will save about 50% of energy. It will also change the way data centres are built as there is no need for room air-conditioning, gas suppression system and raised floor.  This is a revolutionary and disruptive technological green idea.
