Please bring mPCI-Express SSD boot support for Vostro 3x50 notebooks

Hi,

I have a Vostro 3350 notebook, which suits most of my needs just fine... the only thing which bugs me is that there is no SSD in it.

Of course, I know that I could replace the HDD, but that would limit the storage capacity (or tax my wallet seriously), or use a caddy - but then I would need to replace the optical drive with it.

What would be the most suitable solution for me is to use the free mini-PCI Express slot for this purpose. I know that it's intended for a 3G modem (which my machine does not have), but I, like most users, do not need one.

Since the slot should be according to standards, a half-sized mini PCE Express SSD card should work in it, but the BIOS has no option to boot from that slot, as far as I know. (a fact which would render installing an SSD drive in it quite useless, since I want to use it as a system drive)

Could you enable the boot from the mini PCI Express slot on the new Vostro machines? I think a simple BIOS modification should be enough, since the chipset has support for this.

Thanks in advance!
